One of our very best friends...Izzy, took a leap of faith and moved to Kansas a few years ago. He met his soul mate while on his wonderful journey, and brought her back to his roots to ask her to be his wife. He asked us if we could document this very special moment. Since Brooke had never met us, we were just out in the open, but also trying hard not to be TOO obvious. After his beautiful proposal (that brought me to tears), we walked around the park to get a few engagement photos! Here's a condensed version of how this amazing day went....

The Simmons Family...

We had the absolute PLEASURE of shooting the ever so beautiful Simmons family yesterday! They were total naturals in front of the camera, had the sweetest spirits, and were willing to climb, crawl, and bruise their feet for this shoot. :) We had a wonderful time with them, and got SO many amazing photos. Although I want to share them all, here are some of our very favorites....

Sloane & Dylan...

Sloane Elizabeth was born on Monday, to Bryce and Elizabeth...wonderful family friends of ours. We had the privilege of meeting baby Sloane for the first time on Friday! She is absolutely gorgeous just like her Mommy, and was our very first newborn shoot. We also got to hang out with Sloane's big brother Dylan for a little while too...Aren't these two adorable!?
